To protect yourself, the horse falls asleep while standing. but when horses need a deep sleep, they usually lie at a series of short intervals, which corresponds to about 2-3 hours a day. And yet, they often have another horse standing nearby and acting as a watchman.



Do horses like to stand and sleep?
