Hydrate the baby mouse. Unless you are certain that your baby was with your mother within an hour, you should hydrate your baby before giving the prescription. Give 3-4 drops of unflavored electrolyte drink like Pedialyte directly to your baby's mouth. Wait an hour before feeding the infant formula.
