What time of the year is the fox born?
Fox kits are born in the spring, usually in March or April, and come out of the burrow 4-5 weeks after birth.

You have birds and other small animals in your yard. If you don't want to put small animals and chickens in your yard to eat, you need to make sure their sheds are safe and not made of flimsy materials.

The Baby Fox Kit spends the first few weeks in the middle of the burrow until you can open your eyes. Like puppies and kittens, they can't open their eyes for 10-12 days. They stay in the burrow for the first one or two months, and parents bring food to the opening of the burrow. This will allow them to get used to coming out of the burrow.

Some cubs spend the rest of their lives in the group they were born in, while others leave to find another family to join. Dispersion is really expensive for foxes.
