PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
11 in (28 cm), 6.2 oz (175 g). White face, chestnut brown
above, grayish white beneath.
DISTRIBUTION
Greater Antilles, Cuba, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico. Formerly
bred in Florida keys.
HABITAT
Wooded areas.

Feeds in leaf-litter seeds, small fruits, insects, grubs, and caterpillars.
