PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

crest, long tail with white tips, white below.

Central and South America.
HABITAT
Tropical evergreen forest.
BEHAVIOR
Secretive and solitary.

Insects, lizards.

Brood parasitic; hosts include flycatchers. Host offspring disappear
after cuckoo hatches.
