Can dogs mate with foxes?
Easy answer: No, you can't. It just doesn't have compatible parts. (Of course, that doesn't mean they can't be friends: witness the fox juniper and dog moose above). The longer answer to why dog and fox hybrids can't exist is related to two species with very different numbers of chromosomes.
Can foxes be impregnated in dogs?
