What are lion groups called?

Animal Expert
Ask Q

Lions actually live in groups and are called pride. These groups are relatively large and consist of up to 10-15 lions in total, including associated females and their offspring, and 1-2 males. They work together in hunting to more effectively share the killings. The Lion Union sounds like a strategic and political alliance. And that's kind of thing. However, if you're imagining a polite debate in Congress, that's off the mark. A lion coalition is simply a group of two or more (possibly up to seven) male lions "teamed up". These males are often siblings, half-brothers.
