Ask Q

Are female rabbits better than males?

Gender plays a role, and men tend to be slightly more extroverted than females. However, because rabbits have such a unique personality, it is impossible to conclude that one gender will always be a better pet than the other.

Should I have two female rabbits?

Rabbits should always live in pairs as they can be stressful and ill if kept alone. They are sociable animals that need other rabbit companions. The best combination is one male and one female. Before referral, make sure you have contraceptive and castration surgery.

Can a female bunny kill a male bunny?

Yes, rabbits can kill each other. This often happens when two non-neutralized rabbits are surrounded together. It can also occur in two female rabbits, but it is less common than male rabbits. Rabbits that fight to death are usually due to differences in personality.

How often do rabbits need to be eaten?

Rabbits need to have access to hay and water at all times. They appreciate the regular schedule of the rest of the meal. The ideal is to feed at a fixed time twice a day. Rabbits should be eaten once daily: at least 150 g of hay, 100 g of vegetables and 30 g of rabbit feed per rabbit.
